Morecambe Community Church isn't just community in name. We're a mixed bunch of all ages, backgrounds, walks of life and experiences - bit like an extended family.
Here we are with our 20 year anniversary cake
Our Values is what makes up our ethos, who we are and how we are
Jesus Christ and the Good News of His death and resurrection is the centre of our faith and our church.
Knowing nothing but Jesus Christ and him crucified.
Fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.
Our church is biblically balanced in teaching because one truth presented as the whole truth is deception.
Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming.
God is the boss in our church.
The expression of an intimate relationship with God in our lives and in the life of our church.
Offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.
In our church everybody is accepted as a person loved by God whatever the race, social or spiritual background or spiritual maturity.
You hold out your faith in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ, do not show favouritism.
Our church actively takes the Good News to people.
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, even to the end of the age.
The way our church communicates the Good News of Jesus Christ is adapted to the needs of the people.
Though I am free of obligation to anyone, I make myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible.
Our church wants to see people living in the freedom of the Spirit of the Lord in every aspect of their daily lives.
Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
Our church wants every person to reach his or her full potential in Jesus Christ.
Hebrews 6/1 + 10/24
Let us hold resolutely to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider how to spur one another on to love and good deeds.
God and the people our church serves deserve the best we can do with what we have.
Whatever you do, in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
