| "Our Mission is to help people become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ."
We want to encourage, assist, challenge and equip everybody and anybody to come to know, or recommit their lives to Christ - and then to grow up to be followers who are not perfect, but 100% devoted to following Christ.
Our Vision (What we are becoming)
"Our Vision is to be a body of biblically balanced believers reaching our full potential in Him."
We cannot fulfill Christ's mission alone as individuals. We are a church because God wants us to be together to represent Him with our unified gifts and diversity. Our goal together is to further His kingdom in our midst, but we also, in obedience to His Great Commission, actively seek to extend His kingdom. Just to be a biblical community is not enough, we are a biblical community so that we can reflect Him in the world.
Our Beliefs
The Bible The sole basis of our belief is the Bible, which is uniquely God-inspired, and without error. Where questions of faith are concerned, the Bible will always be regarded as giving the final answer.
The Trinity As the Bible teaches, there is one God, eternally existing in three persons - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit - each possessing all the attributes of God.
Grace & Humanity God created humans to have fellowship with Him, but they turned against God by sinfully going their own way. As a result, we need God's saving grace to end our alienation from Him. Salvation comes only through God's saving grace - not human effort - and must be received personally by repentance and faith.
Salvation by Faith in Jesus Jesus Christ, the second Person of the Trinity, lived a sinless life on earth and voluntarily paid for our sin by dying on the cross as our substitute. This accomplishes salvation for all who receive grace by trusting in Him alone. He rose from the dead and is the only mediator between us and God. He will return to earth to complete His fulfillment of the scriptures. At the end, everyone will experience bodily resurrection and the judgment. Those forgiven through Christ will enjoy eternal fellowship with God.
The Holy Spirit The Holy Spirit draws sinners to Christ and equips believers for personal growth and service to the church.
The Role of the Church The church's role is to glorify and worship God and serve those in need.
