Ruach (hebr. wind or breath) is used in the Bible for the Holy Spirit (Holy Breath) - which according to Genesis gives us humans life!
The Spirit still roams the earth wanting to be the comforter, encourager and challenger whom Jesus promised Him to be. He longs to inspire us, enthuse us and empower us to be the people we were designed to be - reaching our full potential in Him.
But what kind of sail are you putting up to catch this wind?
- Is it in good shape?
- Has it got holes in? Is it hanging in tatters?
- Maybe you’ve just got some wire mesh up - it’ll blow straight through!
- Maybe you got your sail up alright, but it’s not facing the right way.
What a waste. The Holy Spirit is blowing, but your sail isn’t ready.
Don’t miss this wind. Don’t get the oar out. Forget the engine.
All you need is Him.
