It’s that time again when I go down to Southport (I’m currently sitting in bed in my B&B!) to run the song words for the Aglow leaders and members conference.
Aglow worship is very different stylistically from MCC, and between you and me I think they get carried away sometimes and move from the Spirit into the flesh. Now - remember, God is a spirit and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth (bad paraphrase of John 4:24).
Does that therefore discount the whole of worship, or is it just that people are human and get it wrong sometimes?
If some of our worship is not “in the spirit”, is our worship still acceptible to God? Is that bit of the worship actually not worship at all?
Just some thoughts
