At the end of 2009 we signed the contract on the lease of "The Barn". The Barn is just next to West End Impact and will provide much needed open plan and additional space for all things happening at WEI now and in the future.

Over the course of the next few years, after many complications, West End Impact purchased the whole complex. This includes the former call centre and the barn behind it.

Over 2011, work began on the former call centre. Over the summer this building was transformed into a fantastic, open conference centre which is available for hire, and also accommodates Morecambe Community Church who meet in the centre on a sunday morning

Moving into 2012, all planning permission has been accepted and now the renovation work can really start!

This is going to be one fantastic space when it's done, and a hugely valuable space for our work and the community in the west end of morecambe.
